I spent my formative years in theatres in Crewe, Chester and Coventry. They were all a huge part of the community and heart of those towns. People would come to a show who might otherwise have never seen a live production. Children must have access to theatre it is a vital part of their education. I urge all councils to reconsider any decision they make take about cutting funding. Theatre is a part of our heritage. We are known throughout the world for our theatre.
