Join the campaign, and shout about how important your theatre is.

We ask for your postcode to know where voices are loudest. It also helps your Council to know you are a local voter.

Your data will be held by the TMA, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting UK theatre. It will only be used to keep you in touch with the campaign and will not be passed to any third party.

By joining, you are confirming that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the My Theatre Matters! Terms & Conditions and agree to be contacted in accordance with the My Theatre Matters! Privacy Policy.

National Campaign for the Arts Research and Education

This is the temporary online home of the NCA

We're currently operating as a band of volunteers with no paid staff.  We're therefore focusing on just two projects:

NCA Arts Index

The NCA produces the Arts Index as a health check of the arts in this country. The 2013 edition of the Index is published by The Guardian. You can download it here.

There is also an Interview with the NCA's Chair, Samuel West and a great use of infographics to highlight some of the key findings in the report.

The original UK Arts Index released in 2010 can be downloaded here.

50p for Culture

This new campaign aims to safeguard and increase local authority investment in arts, museums and heritage.  The NCA is bringing together new research, data analysis and a website (www.50pforculture.org) where residents in England can find out how much local authorities plan to spend on culture in their area this year.

If you'd like to get in touch with the NCA's volunteer Board, email nca@50pforculture.org.

And do follow us on Twitter.
